• Matric
• Financial Management degree
• Proven 15 Years experience as a Financial and Human Resources Manager
• Proficient use of financial software (Pastel Partner, Pastel Evolution and Payspace)
• Developing and implementing Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall company strategy
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports and assessing the financial health of the company
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
• Manage the preparation of the company’s annual budget.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with statutory and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
• Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances
• Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts
• Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts
• Monitor and review all records of company assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
• Liaise with the company auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the company finances is maintained
• Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance
• Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities
