- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to develop accurate demand forecasts for food products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, to gather relevant data and insights and align on demand plans.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring availability of products to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of raw materials and ingredients.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turns.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in demand patterns and develop strategies to address them.
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner in the food production industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices in the food production industry.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
