Senior Technician

• Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment;Â
• Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client;Â
• Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities
• Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company;
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations;
• Feedback to SLA manager;Â
• Problem Solving / Project Management of small projects;
• Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets;
• Submission of fault reports on the system;
• Revision of Work in Progress reports and the financial implications thereof;Â
• Available to be on standby if and when required;Â

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• PSIRA certification;
• Must be AVIGILON certified;
• Must be Paradox alarm certified;
• Cathexis – certification;
• Computer literacy is a must;
• Network ability;
• Fault finding and trouble shooting ability is key;
• Sound knowledge/experience and understanding of Access Control and IP surveillance system;
• Relevant experience in similar position advantageous;Â
• Excellent security equipment installation skills;Â
• Excellent trouble shooting and fault finding skills;Â
• Excellent written & verbal communication and skills;Â
• A good working knowledge of MS Office;
• Valid Driver’s license;
• Proven track record in the Electronics Security Industry;Â
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;Â
