  • Taking full command of a consultant’s desk when they’re away—requotes, proposals, and all.
  • Crafting brochure quotes that make agents say “yes” before they finish reading.
  • Coordinating educational bookings with Sales so seamlessly, they feel like magic.
  • Testing systems and procedures like a curious detective with a flair for efficiency.
  • Chasing provisional bookings like they owe you money (in the nicest way).
  • Reviving dead leads with charm, timing, and a touch of travel alchemy.
  • Supporting consultants during peak periods with booking muscle and grace.
  • Designing itineraries that feel like stories, not spreadsheets.
  • Communicating clearly and consistently with agents, suppliers, and teammates.
  • Rotating emergency duty and early/late shifts with professionalism and poise.
What You Know:
  • Tourplan and Microsoft systems (or you learn fast).
  • South Africa, Southern and East Africa—like a local with a global lens.
  • How to deliver service excellence without breaking a sweat.
What You Bring:
  • A “can do” attitude with a side of curiosity.
  • Deep understanding of travel channels, markets, and commercial strategy.
  • Sales savvy, problem-solving finesse, and teamwork that lifts others.
  • Tech confidence: Tourplan, WETU, MS Office—no panic Googling required.
Who You Are:
  • Interpersonally gifted, deadline-driven, and delight-obsessed.
  • Motivated by meaning, not metrics.
  • Willing to teach, share, and inspire.
  • Admin-driven but never robotic.
What You’ve Done:
  • 3–5 years of inbound tour consulting experience.
  • Enough to know what works, and brave enough to try what hasn’t been done.
