
Service Technician

- Receive and review installation requests, requisition and collect equipment.
- Install equipment at customer premises, ensuring Proof of Delivery and Loan Agreements are signed.
- Conduct routine service calls, scheduled maintenance, and attend to emergency callouts promptly.
- Service and maintain equipment to company standards, arranging repairs when necessary.
- Complete and submit accurate Service Reports.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships.
- Identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and liaise with Telesales for order placement.
- Perform product demonstrations and update customers on new products, promotions, and pricing.
- Prepare and submit weekly work plans, keeping customer records updated in the system.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
- Foster strong internal communication and collaboration between departments.
- Perform any additional duties reasonably expected of the role.
- Grade 12 (Matric); relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
- Technical knowledge with experience in electrical and plumbing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle technical selling and report writing
- Organized, detail-oriented, and system-driven
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and accountability
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
