Hire Resolve's Client is urgently looking for a Mine Manager to be based at a mine in the Northern Cape!Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Lead and coordinate all mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production in compliance with legal and environmental standards.
Develop and implement strategic mine plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with business objectives and profitability targets.
Manage a multi-disciplinary team and oversee performance, training, and development of staff and business partners.
Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHS Act), holding the statutory 3.1(a) appointment and driving a strong safety culture.
Oversee contractor performance and productivity across drilling, blasting, load & haul, and road maintenance operation

Requirements:

Grade 12
Degree in Mining Engineering
Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
Opencast Blasting Certificate
10 years' experience in Opencast or Openpit mining and at least 5 years as a 3.1 Legal Appointment in terms of Mine Health and Safety Act
Valid Driver's License
