The Driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods, passengers, or materials to designated destinations. They must ensure timely deliveries, maintain the vehicle in good working condition, and comply with traffic laws and company policies.Key Responsibilities:Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.Transport goods, passengers, or materials to assigned destinations.Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained.Comply with all road safety regulations and traffic laws.Maintain accurate delivery or trip logs and submit required reports.Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting in case of breakdowns.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or passengers.Requirements:Education & Qualifications:Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent.Valid driver’s license for the relevant vehicle category (Code 8, Code 10, Code 14).Skills & Competencies:Safe and defensive driving skills.Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.Ability to follow directions, maps, and GPS systems.Time-management and punctuality.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Physical fitness for loading/unloading (if required).Additional Requirements:Clean driving record.Previous driving or delivery experience (advantageous).Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays if required.SALARIES ARE MARKET RELATED.The post appeared first on .
