General Operators

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Handyman-related fields (advantageous)
• 23 years of technical experience in roles such as mechanic, plumber, or general handyman
• Valid driver's license (advantageous)
• Forklift license (advantageous) or willingness to obtain through the company
• Practical problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and safety-conscious

• Prepare cabinets and assemble units
• Install sidewalls and lighting components
• Perform basic installation of electrical components related to refrigeration (e.g., power drives)
• Operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards
• Assist with general maintenance and repairs
• Support installation teams on-site and in workshop environments as required
• Conduct quality checks on assembled units
• Manage tools and equipment responsibly
• Assist with stock handling and movement of materials
• Read and interpret basic technical manuals and instructions
• Report faults and suggest improvements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
