Known for its strong footprint in the FMCG/Retail sector, this company offers the stability of a well-established brand with the innovation of a forward-thinking business.My client is looking for a technically strong Financial Accountant to take ownership of statutory reporting, financial statements, and compliance processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified CA(SA), with at least 1 year of post-articles experience, to grow within a high-performing finance team.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Compile monthly and quarterly group management packs.
Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax reporting requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16, and apply technical expertise effectively.
Identify and implement process improvements in reporting and compliance frameworks.

Requirements:

CA(SA).
Minimum of 1 year post-articles experience.
Strong technical knowledge and experience preparing financial statements.
Proficient in IFRS.
Experience in the FMCG or Retail industry is highly advantageous.
