Job Summary A busy multidisciplinary psychology practice is looking for a vibrant, articulate, and experienced Administrator. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transport is required. • Managing the diaries of allocated clinicians. • Scheduling appointments. • Contacting newly referred clients for appointments. • Answering phone calls. • Responding to inquiries. • Maintaining professional communication. • Switchboard management. • Receiving clients in the reception area. • Issuing invoices, doing billing. • Collection of payments. • Issuing receipts. • Dealing with claim queries and PMB applications to medical aids. • Managing medical aid queries. • Follow up on unpaid accounts. • Assist with account queries. • Daily cash up for the branch. • Manage petty cash for the branch. • Ensure the practice is always neat and tidy. • Filing. Experience/Qualifications 1. Essential •Minimum of two years' experience as administrator in a medical/allied health practice •Experience in at least one medical management software program •Experience in doing billing and collections of payments •Experience working on at least one medical management software program •Matric/Grade 12 2. Desirable: GoodX experience Abilities: • Able to manage 3 - 4 psychologists' diaries with accuracy • Able to work under pressure. • Strong knowledge of practice management systems. • Telephone etiquette • Excellent communication skills in Afr/Eng
