Key Responsibilities Finance & Administration
  • Manage supplier invoices, petty cash, forex float, and budget tracking.
  • Summarize weekly expenditures, lead finance meetings, and assist with budgetary planning.
  • Prepare and check monthly financial variances, forecasts, and CAPEX requests.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recording, occupancy reporting, and stock control.
Reception & Guest Administration
  • Oversee the reception team and ensure smooth back-office operations.
  • Manage guest information, PMS system updates, daily banking, and communication between departments.
  • Handle switchboard, radio communication, and administrative systems.
Additional Support
  • Assist with staff uniforms, first aid administration, wellness projects, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support lodge IT systems and act as a key link between the GM, staff, and head office.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or lodges.
  • Financial qualification and strong administrative background.
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel; knowledge of Springer Miller PMS (or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking ability.
  • Excellent communication, email, and telephone etiquette.
  • Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • First Aid qualification (provided by company).
  • Valid work permit/visa if not a South African national.
