Our client, a luxury 4-star beach hotel set on the iconic Blouberg beachfront, is seeking a FIT Reservations Consultant to join their team.
The successful candidate will be detail-orientated, guest-focused, and experienced in handling FIT reservations with accuracy and professionalism. This role requires a balance of administrative precision and warm guest communication to ensure a seamless booking journey.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all FIT reservations accurately and efficiently
- Capture bookings on Opera and maintain updated guest records
- Upload guest requirements into the preference planner
- Send quotes and confirmations to guests via email
- Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Upsell rooms, packages, and hotel facilities to maximize revenue
- Work closely with the Front Office and Sales teams for smooth operations
- Maintain excellent guest communication and ensure requests are actioned
- 23 years experience in a FIT Reservations role
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite essential
- Strong knowledge of FIT reservations and booking processes
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong sales mindset with proven upselling ability
- Grade 12 (Matric) required; Hotel School qualification advantageous
- Professional, well-groomed, and guest-focused approach
