My client is seeking a Senior Payroll Consultant – Global Markets to join their dynamic HR & Finance team. This role will take ownership of payroll across multiple regions, with a strong emphasis on Latin America (LATAM) and Asia-Pacific (APAC), while also supporting the UK and other global payroll operations.As the Global Payroll Specialist, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll processes across diverse regions, working closely with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and supporting their growing international workforce.As the Senior Payroll Consultant – Global Markets, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage end-to-end payroll for LATAM, APAC, UK, and other global regions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with internal HR and Finance teams, as well as external vendors, to deliver seamless payroll services.
- Maintain compliance with regional payroll legislation (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, India, Singapore, etc.).
- Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and ensure data integrity within payroll systems.
- Act as the main point of escalation for complex payroll queries across international regions.
- Drive process improvements, support payroll transitions, and contribute to system integrations.
- Prepare and present payroll reports and insights to support business decision-making.
- Safeguard confidentiality, data privacy, and compliance with global regulations.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in international payroll.
Strong expertise in LATAM and APAC payroll operations (essential).
Proven knowledge of UK payroll practices and HMRC compliance (advantageous).
Hands-on experience working with global payroll vendors and cloud-based HRIS/payroll systems.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills.
