An exciting opportunity has become available for an operations administrator to join a leading organisation within the industrial solutions sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the full sales cycle – from accurate order processing to logistics coordination, financial administration, and customer service. This is a dynamic role suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and within deadlines.
  • Track and communicate order status with internal teams and clients.
  • Update and maintain delivery schedules on CRM systems.
  • Handle customer queries with professionalism and urgency.
  • Support customer onboarding and ensure all compliance documentation is complete (EUC/Export Control).
  • Coordinate closely with finance for invoicing, reconciliations, credit notes, and payment terms.
  • Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability, backorder management, and timely deliveries.
  • Manage exports and cross-border trade, with knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Prepare invoicing projections, forecasting records, and management reports.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional customer relationships.
Required Skills:
  • Experience: 2–5 years in sales support, order processing, or admin coordination. Exposure to exports, cross-border trade, and industrial/technical equipment environment.
  • Qualifications: National Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent strong work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP/CRM systems such as Sage X3, SAP, or SYSPRO. Familiarity with export compliance processes.
  • Core Competencies: Highly organised, analytical, detail-focused, strong communication skills, problem-solver, proactive, able to multitask under pressure.
  • Industry Fit: Ideally from an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing background, with the ability to collaborate across sales, finance, logistics, and warehouse teams.
