Johannesburg - Gauteng - South AfricaENVIRONMENT:Our client, a leading player in the motor vehicle industry with operations across South Africa and neighboring countries, is looking for an experienced Digital and Graphics Designer to join their team in Kempton Park. Operating across retail, rentals, and manufacturing divisions, this role will primarily support the car rental business while also contributing to the creative needs of multiple brands within the group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years professional design experience, a strong portfolio showcasing both digital and large-format print work, and proven experience working with Corporate Identities, including supporting the development and implementation of CIs. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile designer who thrives in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.DUTIES:
- Design assets for social media, websites, mailshots, billboards, pull-up banners, car hangers, stickers, portfolios, and in-branch branding.
- Ensure brand consistency across all designs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to interpret briefs and deliver a visual solution.
- Collaborate with copywriters and developers to ensure alignment between visual and written content.
- Prepare print-ready artwork and digital files to specifications.
- Support the visual presentation of brands on social platforms.
- Maintain and update brand files and marketing assets.
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices.
- Minimum 5 years professional design experience.
- Experience working with Corporate Identities and supporting the creation of CIs.
- Strong portfolio covering both digital and large-format print work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to translate briefs into clear, practical designs.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, and UX/UI principles
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML and CSS, and desktop and mobile views.
- Interest in digital and social media trends
- Animation skills and 3D sketch experience are beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Ability to take a project from concept to completion independently.
