Role Overview:The successful candidates will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance, and assisting with installations and commissioningCandidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Millwright with a strong electrical background
  • Minimum 5 years of post-trade experience, preferably within the FMCG sector (mandatory)
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate and capable of writing technical reports
  • PLC knowledge will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and repairing complex bottling and packaging equipment
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Interpreting mechanical schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Conducting equipment diagnostics and running performance tests
  • Managing multiple job cards and meeting tight deadlines
  • Coordinating with stores and arranging quotations for parts required
  • Ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld on-site
  • Participating in a scheduled standby roster for breakdown support
