Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that will increase the company''s revenue and market share. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a target / revenue through effective sales and marketing efforts, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities in the retail / wholesale sector.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company''s revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with new & existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activity and use this information to refine sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the market development team to understand the company''s offerings and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate new business leads.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the training or education industry.
  • Understanding of Seta accredited Learnerships and Internships
  • Digital Learning
  • Understanding of the Employee Tax Incentives
  • Knowledge of Sec on 12(h) of the Income Tax Act Incentive
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proposal and tender writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
