- Develop and implement the hospital's strategic operational plan.
- Participate in management teams and ensure good corporate governance.
- Build and maintain relationships with JMH Group executives and external stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient and fit-for-purpose clinical support services.
- Source and recruit new specialist doctors as needed.
- Identify and act on business growth and marketing opportunities.
- Lead branding and loyalty initiatives aligned with the JMH Group.
- Manage and forecast the hospital's budget and ensure sound financial practices.
- Work with HR to foster inclusivity, transformation, and staff development.
- Oversee policy development and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Implement JMH Group policies, procedures, and facility management services.
- Ensure all capital projects meet compliance, strategic goals, and service standards.
- Promote a culture of professionalism and high standards among hospital staff.
- 8-10 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in a senior management role in healthcare.
- Minimum diploma or degree (NQF Level 7 or equivalent), preferably in business or health services management.
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA in a relevant field (preferred).
- Experience with clinical and/or corporate governance.
- Project management experience.
- Facilities and financial management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital policy and service delivery best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector at a senior management level.
- Proven track record of service innovation and leadership.
- Strategic thinking and ability to motivate and lead professionals.
- Strong operational performance focus with ability to work independently and proactively.
