Job DescriptionWe're looking for a seasoned Group Financial Manager to head up financial operations within a niche insurance space. The role spans operational delivery, compliance, and advisory input at senior levels.What you'll be doing:
Leading a team of accountants and managing resources across regions
Reviewing reconciliations, control accounts, and monthly processing
Preparing detailed management reports and analysing performance metrics
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Managing annual financial statements in line with IFRS standards
Handling statutory reporting (FSCA, Reserve Bank, tax authorities)
Supporting external audits and submitting audit packs
Driving improvements in systems and financial processes
Liaising with internal teams and resolving broker-related queries
What we're looking for:
CA (SA) qualification
5-7 years' experience in Short-Term Insurance
Strong IFRS technical knowledge
Advanced Excel and proficiency in accounting systems
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Ability to manage deadlines and deliver in a high-accountability environment
