Job Type: Full-Time | On-siteAbout the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic individual to join this well-established market leader which delivers full campaign rollouts including design and prototyping, digital printing and final field execution.They are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a solid background in digital printing to lead and oversee their production operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of industry experience, strong technical knowledge, and proven leadership ability to drive efficiency, maintain high quality standards, and ensure timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the digital print production floor
- Manage production schedules, workflow, and staffing requirements
- Maintain and improve quality assurance standards
- Coordinate with sales, design, and logistics teams to ensure smooth job execution
- Monitor equipment performance and arrange maintenance when necessary
- Implement cost control and process optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Print Production, Operations Management, or similar field preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the digital printing industry
- Proven track record in production management or supervisory roles
- Strong understanding of digital printing technologies and finishing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure whilst ensuring SOP compliance
- Solid understanding of workflow software and MIS systems is advantageous
- Solid track record with strong supervisory skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
