We are seeking a skilled Senior Dairy Manager to oversee our dairy operations.In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our dairy operations, including herd management, milk production, staff supervision, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy farming and excellent leadership skills.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the dairy farm.
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities, including hiring and training.
- Ensure proper care of dairy herd and oversee milk production.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize dairy production.
- Monitor dairy farm financial performance and prepare budgets.
- Maintain records and prepare reports related to dairy operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
