Salary: Commensurate with experienceAbout the Role:A leading, purpose-driven hospitality and agritourism business in the heart of the Cape Winelands is seeking a People Experience Partner to join their People & Culture team.This is a hands-on, high-impact role that supports the employee experience across a broad spectrum of departments—from accommodation and culinary to guest experiences and farming operations. You will serve as a trusted HR business partner to operational leaders, building capability, enhancing engagement, and ensuring a values-aligned, people-first culture.Key Responsibilities:Business PartneringAct as the primary HR advisor for hospitality and operational teamsSupport workforce planning, talent management, and organisational designCoach managers on team dynamics, structure, and people developmentEmployee ExperienceImplement engagement and recognition programsFacilitate feedback loops and proactive wellbeing initiativesStrengthen onboarding and employee lifecycle momentsPerformance & DevelopmentRoll out performance tools and frameworksIdentify learning needs and support upskilling initiativesChampion leadership and career development pathwaysOperational HRManage day-to-day HR operations including lifecycle events, wellness, and employee relationsCollaborate with payroll, recruitment, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Payspace)Ensure HR policies and compliance with South African labour legislationPeople Projects & DEIBDrive people-centric projects: wellness campaigns, long-service recognition, seasonal staffingContribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts across the businessRequirements:5–7 years HR/People Partner experience in hospitality or service-driven environmentsSolid understanding of South African labour law and HR best practicesProven strength in coaching, change management, and conflict resolutionHigh EQ with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisationProficiency in HRIS platforms (Payspace an advantage)HR, Industrial Psychology, or Hospitality-related degree/diplomaWhat Sets You Apart:You thrive across environments—boardrooms, back-of-house, or vineyardsYou lead with empathy but aren’t afraid of honest conversationsYou see culture as a living system, not a checklistStrong problem-solving skills, calm under pressureYou’re people-first, practical, and purpose-drivenTo ApplyPlease submit a copy of your updated CV and a recent profile photo.
