SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Fertilizer, Direct Inputs & Livestock division in Fish River Valley (Cookhouse & Cradock area).Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Agricultural Input, the Technical Marketer is primarily responsible for:

Advising farmers/clients and other stakeholders on the most suitable products for improving yields and agricultural efficiency.
Providing agronomic and scientific support to farmers/clients and sales teams.
Driving the marketing and sales of fertilizer, seed, and related agricultural products.
Farm visits to monitor plant health, soil conditions, and crop performance.

Requirements

A BSc Agricultural degree
Completion of BASOS and AVCASA courses is an advantage

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English
In-depth knowledge of the marketing and sales of fertilizer, seed, and related agricultural products
Must be able to work on his/her initiative and possess excellent time management skills
Knowledge of pastures and grains
A proven track record with producers and stakeholders
Must be able to monitor market trends and competitor activities
Must be results-driven
Must possess good computer skills - MS Office applications
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have a positive attitude and be able to network/interact with stakeholders at all levels
Must possess a valid Code B (Code 08) driver's license
