The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technology systems, infrastructure, and services across the business. This includes managing hardware, software, networks, and vendor coordination while ensuring the continuous improvement, security, and reliability of IT systems. Your goal will be to deliver maximum efficiency, reduce risk, and enable business continuity while supporting exceptional customer and staff experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily IT operations across multiple systems, including networks, servers, security, software, and end-user supportProvide strategic direction and recommendations for technology advancementsManage a team of IT support staff and external vendorsMaintain and optimise all server, cloud, and client-based systems (Windows, Mac, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Citrix, SQL, Micros Opera, Sage Evolution, etc.)Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery processes (Vembu, Mimecast, BDRSuite)Monitor and secure all network infrastructure (Sophos XGS Firewall, VPNs, VLANs, Netgear, Ruckus Wi-Fi)Maintain and support AV systems, CCTV (Hikvision), VOIP/PABX, mobile communications, and access controlEvaluate and implement IT audit controls and ensure compliance with policiesOversee inventory of hardware/software and license managementStay informed on cybersecurity threats and train staff accordinglyBe available for support outside of standard working hours when necessaryContribute to monthly reporting, internal audits, and continuous improvement of systems and serviceAbout YouMinimum of 5 years' experience in IT and Operations support, with 2+ years in a supervisory/management roleDegree or diploma in Information Technology or related fieldStrong technical knowledge across infrastructure, networks, virtualisation, and systems administrationProven experience in hospitality environments is advantageousProficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and cybersecurityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindsetStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsWell-organised, proactive, and calm under pressureExperience managing IT assets, audits, and compliance processesThis role is ideal for a tech-savvy leader passionate about service excellence, innovation, and keeping systems performing at their best in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
