Job Summary Our Client in the Richmond, Pinetown area is looking for a Cafe Supervisor to oversee the daily café and bakery operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and adherence to hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities •Oversee daily café and bakery operations •Prepare and serve food, drinks, and baked goods to standards •Develop menus and recipes •Ensure food safety, quality, and presentation •Train, schedule, and supervise staff •Monitor performance and provide coaching •Manage stock, orders, and waste control •Track sales and support revenue goals •Control costs without affecting quality •Ensure hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance •Maintain café and equipment cleanliness •Drive performance against sales, profit, waste, and customer targets •Review sales/GP reports and implement corrective actions •Handle staff queries, scheduling, and training needs Experience •Matric, food safety certificate advantageous • 3+ years in food service or café/bakery management •Knowledge of café products, food preparation, and cooking essential •Supervisory/leadership experience in a customer service Skills •Excellent customer service •Detail and quality focused •Calm, efficient multitasker •Practical, hands-on leadership Kindly note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
