Training and Capacity Building
- Develop and manage training and capacity building plans based on project needs and ACHIEVE workplan and aligned with Depts of Social Development and Health annual plans and priorities.
- Implement training and capacity building activities, across three districts, to increase coverage of prioritized OVC structured interventions, such as RISIHA and Abangane.
- Work closely with Programmes and Clinical Services and Linkages units to expand coverage and optimize mentorship/monitoring systems for peer-led support groups (with a focus paediatric HIV, postnatal clubs for teen moms, ALHIV with disability).
- Develop training plans and reports and maintain training records - aligned to ACHIEVE reporting OVC requirements as well as DSD/DOH/SAG priorities.
- Monitor and assess impact of training and implementation, in coordination with other m2m ACHIEVE units and relevant partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DSD and DOH stakeholders and key implementing partners, to maximise joint planning, co-implementation, and collective learning about approved OVC interventions.
- Develop/contribute to project workplans, reports, and tools to cascade OVC interventions or course corrections.
- Assist with management of resources as needed (at district level).
- Conduct on-site monitoring activities, virtual mentorship, and monthly quality improvement meetings, in line with m2m ACHIEVE's minimum standards for supervision and mentorship processes.
- Work with SI unit to refine and cascade tools (dashboards, etc) as needed to improve monitoring processes and ensure quality outcomes for OVC support groups and OVC structured interventions, with an aim to continuous apply learning for course correction.
- Monitor relevant project data, compile and assess areas for quality/service improvement.
- Liaise with SI team to assess performance and implement joint capacity building interventions for m2m staff and government partners, as required.
- Represent m2m in provincial and district forums as directed.
- Manage strategic relationships with provincial and district departments and other implementing partners/stakeholders, with support of the Senior Management Team.

- Fluent in English and local language
- Valid driver's license
- Degree or equivalent experience in health, social sciences or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of paediatric HIV and adherence /disclosure
- Previous experience with USAID-funded health and HIV related projects and Dept. of Health preferred
