Role: Learning & Development (L&D) AssociateLocation: Latin America / Philippines / South AfricaWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM ESTSalary Range: TBD based on location and experienceType of contract: Independent ContractorType of job: RemoteAbout the Role: We are seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Associate to design, deliver, and manage impactful virtual training and development programs. This role is ideal for someone who is highly tech-savvy, experienced in using a variety of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and skilled in facilitating engaging remote onboarding and employee upskilling sessions. The right candidate will bring creativity, adaptability, and strong communication skills to ensure employees thrive in a remote-first environment. This role offers hands-on training from the current L&D Lead, with the potential for accelerated advancement to L&D Manager based on performance and the quality of project execution.Key Responsibilities:Virtual Training Facilitation
  • Coordinate and lead engaging remote onboarding sessions for new internal hires in the Philippines, South Africa, Latin America, and the US, guiding them through the completion of their training.
  • Conduct upskilling and continuous development workshops across global teams and departments.
Technology & LMS Management
  • Administer and optimize company’s LMS to track learning paths, enrollments, and completions.
  • Troubleshoot LMS and virtual platform issues to ensure seamless learning experiences
  • Research and recommend new digital tools to enhance learning delivery and engagement.
Program Coordination & Logistics
  • Schedule, organize, and communicate remote training programs across different time zones.
  • Prepare and distribute digital learning materials, resources, and interactive content.
  • Coordinate training sessions and assessments on virtual platforms to ensure smooth operation.
Content & Curriculum Support
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design engaging training content.
  • Update onboarding resources and upskilling programs to keep them relevant.
  • Manage and maintain an internal resource database to ensure every team member has seamless access to company materials and role-specific resources.
  • Create e-learning modules, video tutorials, and knowledge resources.
Evaluation & Reporting
  • Collect learner feedback and measure effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Generate reports on training participation, progress, and completion rates.
  • Identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Role Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in Learning & Development, HR training, or any similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully conducting remote onboarding and employee training programs.
  • Hands-on experience with any LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Workday, Moodle, TalentLMS, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Skills:
  • Strong proficiency with any remote collaboration tools (Zoom, MS Teams, Slack, Google Workspace).

  • Solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess program success and recommend improvements.
