- Degree/ Diploma in Nursing with approximately 5 years post-basic and proven leadership and/ or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in the area of specialization)
- A Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essential
- A Postgraduate qualification in Management and Nursing Education would prove advantageous
- At least 5 years of experience as a qualified theatre registered nurse
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council
- Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial and change management principles
- Computer proficiency (MS Office)
- Driver's license and own transport
