FMCG Inventory Controller

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts to verify physical vs. system records
• Record and update all stock movements: receipts, transfers, dispatches, and returns

• Report discrepancies, damages, or missing stock to the Inventory Supervisor immediately

• Ensure FIFO principles are followed during picking, packing, and dispatch

• Support binning, labelling, and stock rotation in designated storage areas

• Prepare count sheets and reconciliation forms for scheduled cycle counts

• Assist in investigating stock variances alongside warehouse staff

• Maintain clean, organised, and compliant stock areas in line with safety and hygiene standards

• Support ad-hoc warehouse tasks including repacking, pallet checks, and stock adjustments

• Matric (Grade 12) required

• A certificate or short course in Inventory/Warehousing will be advantageous

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in inventory control or stock counting within an FMCG warehouse

• Experience with ERP/WMS systems and handheld scanners preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic numeracy and ability to reconcile figures

• Reliable, disciplined, and hands-on approach

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and under pressure

• Team player with good communication skills

• Physically fit for warehouse duties (lifting and moving stock)
