If this is you, please read on!What you will do:Work with Outbound Logistics and Exports Heads to develop and embed best practices, minimum standards, policies, processes, tools and technologyContinuously seek best practices in all facets of exports, and ensure these are shared across the countriesAssist with Supplier selection (contracts), drives allocation and optimization of service providers to provide the best service (volumes, timing and route) at the most competitive rate for exports and downstream productsDevelop and implement an exports logistics strategy that aligns to the ambitions and goals of the organizationWhat you will need:Commercial or Logistics or Supply Chain focused bachelors degree (Project Management advantageous)5 years experience in Logistics/Warehousing/Supply Chain, with exports/imports experience and 3 years at a management levelSound shipping knowledge and experience with an excellent understanding of charter parties and containerized shipping, and INCO2020 termsBroad knowledge in acquisition and agile adherence to changes in inter-country legislation or regulationsStrong understanding of logistics and the supply chain environment, including control towersProven experience with warehousing, handling and storage options, container packing, stock controlProven experience and/or understanding in cross border deliveries within the African continentExcited to learn more?
