Legal Advisor (In-house) - Cape TownOur client based in Cape Town, Bellville is seeking to employ an In-house Legal Advisor.The successful legal professional will be supporting the Directors.Key Responsibilities:Company secretarial or general administrative support;Resolutions.Minutes and actions for Board and Exco meetings.All related Corporate Governance matters.Reviewing and drafting contracts.Day-to-day contract management assistance and advice, including Funding and Franchisor agreements.Management of Lease Agreements.Management of Insurance Claims via broker.Any other duties, as assigned by the Directors, in line with the role.Skills:High attention to detail.A passion for and understanding of commercial law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to handle multiple projects, prioritise work and work effectively with limited supervision.Able to work under pressure and deliver within timeframes.Good project management skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Requirements:Minimum BCom Law degree.LLB degree will be advantageous.5 years’ experience.Commercial background.
