RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join a prominent mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities in the mining industry.Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for plant equipment and facilities
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance activities
Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and schedule corrective maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities
Track and report on maintenance performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with the maintenance planning team to optimize resource allocation and reduce downtime

Requirements

5 years of experience in maintenance scheduling within the mining industry
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles and methodologies
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
