Field Service Technician

• Title: Field Service Technician
• Location: Boksburg
• Salary: Basic salary of approximately R40,000 per month

• Additional potential earnings: overtime and standby, based on employer requirements
• Holiday Bonus: Guaranteed company bonus of 50% of the monthly salary, paid in December (prorated if joining mid-year)

• The company will provide medical aid if the candidate isn’t on a spouse’s medical aid. Proof of spouse’s cover is required.

• Sick Pay Fund: Available.

• Perform alignment (with or without laser)
• Commissioning of systems
• Fluid coupling installation and maintenance (including strip, repair, assembly, oil change, and testing)
• Perform fault-finding and drive systems analysis with recommendations for repairs or upgrades
• Conduct systems health checks and basic condition monitoring
• After-market client liaison

• Fitter N3 qualification
• At least 5 years of field service experience in mining and/or power transmission
• Experience with laser alignment
• Qualified Millwright (ideal but not mandatory)
• Ideally, 10 years of relevant experience in the field
• Experience with condition monitoring

• Overtime and Standby: Paid according to employer requirements
• Company Bonus: Guaranteed bonus paid yearly in December (pro-rata if joining mid-year)
