A market leader and supplier of industrial minerals and associated products and solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to be responsible for promoting specialised animal feed products, managing sales admin and marketing activities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commercial, Animal Nutrition, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Animal Feed industry with a proven track record
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the industry
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
  • Financially astute with sound forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Promoting a range of specialized products in the animal feed market.
  • Expanding and entrenching market position as the preferred supplier of target products by providing support to key players.
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with principals and customers.
  • Managing sales administration functions such as budgeting, forecasting, credit control, margins, sales reports, business plans, and pricing.
  • Implementing marketing strategies.
  • Building sound interpersonal relationships with both internal and external customers.
