
Procurement Clerk

- Assist in the processing of purchase orders and procurement requests.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise requisitions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet operational requirements.
- Support the accounts team with invoice verification and reconciliation.
- Matric certificate or equivalent; a certificate/diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is advantageous.
- Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation in a similar position; experience with operations preferred.
- Understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Experience with BuildSmart Accounting software is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or related administrative roles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary: negotiable.
