- Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft word and Windows Outlook
- Advanced understanding and/or experience in interpretation of employment contracts and agreements
- Dealing with conflict and grievance resolution
- Experience in a trade union environment will be an advantage
- Collective bargaining and health and safety/employee wellbeing
- Knowledge of the structures within the motor industry will be an advantage
- A valid driver's licence
- Willing and able to travel extensively and on short notice
- Skilled in daily planning and administration
