Senior Design Draughtsman

• Develop 3D parametric models from base skeleton structures using Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare accurate General Arrangement (GA) layouts and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers to refine and finalise technical outputs.
• Provide regular updates on project and drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and quality in all drawings in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Apply skeleton modelling techniques to create efficient and adaptable design models.

• Minimum 10 years’ proven experience as a Senior Design Draughtsman.
• At least 10 years of hands-on involvement in mechanical engineering projects.
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing and fabrication environments.
• Diploma in Mechanical Draughting or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Proficient in Autodesk software, including:

• Inventor (3D skeleton modelling)
• AutoCAD
• Vault
• Navisworks Manage / Freedom
• Familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
• Capable of working with TeamViewer for remote collaboration.
• Experience in the mining industry will be a strong advantage.
