The successful candidate will be proactive, digitally savvy, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively and bring fresh ideas to enhance brand visibility.
In this role, you will assist in the creation and management of engaging content across Corion Capital’s social media platforms, marketing collateral, and presentations. You will play a key role in supporting brand communication, ensuring consistency across digital and print media.
The successful candidate will be proactive, digitally savvy, and detail-oriented, with the ability to contribute to both creative design and strategic marketing initiatives.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and management of social media content (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Design and update marketing materials including brochures, factsheets, and digital assets.
- Support the development of PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
- Contribute to the ideation and execution of brand campaigns and digital marketing strategies.
- Edit and produce video content using Adobe Premier Pro for marketing and educational purposes.
- Collaborate with the investment and distribution teams to ensure content is relevant, timely, and on-brand.
- Help monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting analytics.
- Stay up to date with marketing trends, particularly in the financial services industry.
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme.
- A completed Bachelor’s degree or diploma in one of the following fields:
- Marketing
- Communications
- A related field (Marketing/Finance blend is advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro).
- Strong PowerPoint and MS Office skills.
- Understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement best practices.
- A portfolio or examples of past work will be an advantage.
- No formal work experience required, but familiarity or academic exposure to the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Excel (including formulas/macros).
- SQL or any form of database interaction.
- Python (especially for automation).
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working with numbers and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
