- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing financial documents and managing invoices.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
