Our client, a respected Chartered Accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Administrator to join their Compliance Department. This is a legal and compliance-focused position — not a general secretarial or reception role. The successful candidate will manage statutory and regulatory requirements for a portfolio of entities in full compliance with the Companies Act and CIPC processes.Ideal Candidate Profile:
We require a mature, professional individual with solid hands-on experience in company secretarial and CIPC compliance work. You should be confident working independently, understanding the legal implications of each process, and ensuring deadlines and statutory requirements are met without the need for additional training.Qualifications & Skills:Relevant qualification in company secretarial practice, corporate governance, or a related legal/compliance fieldRecent, practical experience with CIPC requirements and company secretarial processesFamiliarity with Companies Act provisionsExperience with CIPC E-Services submissions (advantageous)Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with Greatsoft (advantageous)Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transportKey Responsibilities:CIPC Compliance & SubmissionsRegister new companiesProcess company name changesAmend Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI)Update director appointments/resignationsConvert entity typesProcess shareholder changes (share transfers, allotments, etc.)Amend registered and postal addressesChange financial year-endsUpdate auditor and accounting officer appointmentsFile Annual Returns and supporting documentationPrepare Beneficial Ownership declarationsManage deregistration and reinstatement of entitiesStatutory Records ManagementMaintain statutory registers (securities register, beneficial ownership register) on GreatsoftReview entity files for compliance with the Companies ActEnsure proper filing of signed resolutions, minutes, and secretarial documentsIssue share certificates and record share transfers accuratelyIf you do not hear from us within 14 days, please consider your application for this role unsuccessful.
