- Diploma/Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 35 years experience in a similar community liaison or development role, ideally in hospitality, conservation, or NGO environments.
- Strong understanding of rural community dynamics, traditional leadership structures, and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- Proven track record in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to speak local languages (e.g., isiZulu, Sepedi, Tsonga, or local dialects) advantageous.
- Knowledge of conservation, sustainability, and eco-tourism practices will be a strong asset.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to community areas regularly.
- Professional, approachable, and able to represent the lodges values at all times.
