Support Services Financial Manager

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage our Support Services team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Financial Oversight: Serve as a bank signatory, responsible for releasing EFT payments and managing creditor banking details. Authorize journals and oversee the management of the POS system, including the release of purchase orders.
• Financial Analysis: Review balance sheet reconciliations, conduct income statement analysis, and provide insights through monthly statistical reporting and Group charges, including Group VAT submission.
• Reporting and Compliance: Prepare quarterly reports for STATS SA, support year-end audits and budgets for Support Services, including the preparation and consolidation of accounts. Assist with annual financial statements for Dormant companies.
• Financial Planning: Prepare flash reports, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Assist departmental management with queries and budgeting processes.
• Payroll Support: Manage monthly group support services fringe benefit schedules for payroll, including deduction schedules. Conduct monthly budget vs actual variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
• Control Procedures: Implement and ensure the effectiveness of control procedures to safeguard financial assets and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc support for Group management accounting needs as they arise.

• Completed Matric
• Completed BCom in Accounting or Finance related field
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in a similar position
• Management experience required
