Investment Associate

• Conduct detailed valuations using multiple methodologies, including:

• Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
• Enterprise Value to EBITDA / EBIT
• Price-to-Earnings (P/E)
• Price-to-Net Asset Value (P/NAV)
• Perform in-depth financial statement and company analysis.
• Execute and support due diligence investigations on potential investments.
• Draft clear, insightful discussion papers and transaction proposals.
• Prepare and deliver portfolio company reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise effectively with portfolio company management teams to gather information and track performance.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed within tight deadlines and to a high professional standard.
• Contribute to investment team discussions and decision-making by presenting clear analysis and recommendations.

• CA(SA) (Chartered Accountant)

• Minimum 3 years' corporate finance experience with a strong focus on valuations.
• At least 4 years post-articles experience overall.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, investment analysis, or transaction advisory.

• Strong technical knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial analysis.
• High levels of tenacity, attention to detail, and analytical rigour.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with portfolio companies.
• A self-starter, proactive, and driven individual with a solid work ethic.
• Team player who is adaptable and able to perform under pressure.
