
Technical Sales Executive â Explosive Environments

- Minimum 810 years external sales experience within electrical or instrumentation sectors
- Proven experience working with explosion-protected products or within industries governed by hazardous area regulations
- Must be familiar with EPCs, OEMs, end-users, and project environments
- Valid drivers license and a willingness to travel regionally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a hunter mindset
- Experience selling into sectors such as mining, oil & gas, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, or heavy industrial
- Solid understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx, Ex d, Ex e, etc.) is highly advantageous
- Exposure to electrical control boxes, Ex-rated enclosures, junction boxes, lighting, plugs & sockets, and related gear
- CRM usage and ability to manage pipelines and hit sales targets
- Skilled in building long-term relationships with Technical Buyers, Engineers, and procurement teams
- Self-motivated, organised, and committed to long-haul customer growth
- Advantageous: N3 or trade background in electronics, instrumentation, millwrighting, or electrical fields
