A specialist industrial supplier is looking for a skilled and seasoned Technical Sales Executive to drive growth across the mining, chemical, oil & gas, and related industries. Youll represent a product portfolio designed for hazardous, high-risk environmentsfrom luminaires and control panels to junction boxes and signalling devices. The right candidate will know how to sell to sites where Ex-rated gear isnt just preferredits essential.This is a remote, field-based role across Gauteng, with flexibility to travel across key hubs and industrial zones.✠Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • Minimum 810 years external sales experience within electrical or instrumentation sectors
  • Proven experience working with explosion-protected products or within industries governed by hazardous area regulations
  • Must be familiar with EPCs, OEMs, end-users, and project environments
  • Valid drivers license and a willingness to travel regionally
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a hunter mindset
⚙️ Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Experience selling into sectors such as mining, oil & gas, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, or heavy industrial
  • Solid understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx, Ex d, Ex e, etc.) is highly advantageous
  • Exposure to electrical control boxes, Ex-rated enclosures, junction boxes, lighting, plugs & sockets, and related gear
  • CRM usage and ability to manage pipelines and hit sales targets
  • Skilled in building long-term relationships with Technical Buyers, Engineers, and procurement teams
  • Self-motivated, organised, and committed to long-haul customer growth
  • Advantageous: N3 or trade background in electronics, instrumentation, millwrighting, or electrical fields
