- Implement and manage a financial control system
- Financial Management and daily processing of bank accounts, reconciliations, debtors, creditors, petty cash, fixed assets
- Ensure invoicing and collections are done timeously
- Statutory returns and compliance with SARS, CIPRO and Department of Labour
- Processing of leave, monthly travel claims, cellphone and expenses, and preparing payroll input reports
- Ensure external and legal analysts' hours and invoices are captured, checked, balanced and billed;
- Preparing management accounts, and financial statements and liaising with auditors at year-end
- Liaison with suppliers (Landlord, IT service providers, printers, office furniture, etc.)
- Running exception reports to ensure that projects, payment allocations and invoicing tie up.
- Manage the Office Administrator and Cleaner to ensure the office runs smoothly
- Travel bookings and ordering of office supplies
- Allocating projects to analysts based on loading and targets, are re-allocation when necessary
- Ensure analyst weekly planning is done before the monthly OPCO meeting, prepare, check and present the OPCO pack at the OPCO meeting
- Check project age analysis on regular basis and give feedback regarding open jobs
- Monthly checks on analysts' certificates issued and follow-up on A0 closing procedures
- Continuously develop & maintain Project Status en Incentives spreadsheets
- Managing the smooth running of IT within the company
- Maintaining up-to-date personal records for all staff and preparing monthly scorecards for performance reviews for staff.
- Bcom accounting/honours
- Between 6 and 10 years of work experience in the financial controlling/accounting field
- Have a good understanding of accounting and interpretation of financial systems and financial statements
- Experience in implementing and managing financial controls.
