Automation Engineer

Lexdan Select is assisting a Company with their search for an Automation Engineer, based in Cape Town.Functions:

Industrial automation and process control engineering functions.
Design and implementation of industrial automation systems for automation projects.
Program PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA systems, and related hardware.
MES & reporting system development.
Factory acceptance testing.
Commissioning on site.
Support / breakdown assistance on site.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Engineering
5 Years experience in designing and implementing industrial automation and process control solutions.
Expertise in Schneider EcoStruxure Machine, Automation & Control Expert, Vijeo Designer.
Expertise in Aveva Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian.
Expertise in Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7.
Expertise in Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000.
Expertise in Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA, Perspective and Vision.
