- Design and specification of electrical building services including power, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and sustainability standards.
- Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
- Assist with mentoring junior engineers where applicable.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum [3–5+] years’ experience in electrical design within building services consultancy.
- Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and Amtech.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., BS, IEC, IEE Wiring Regulations).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is desirable.
