- Proven experience as a Fitter and Turner, preferably in heavy machinery manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fitter turner in an industrial setting.
- Boilermaker experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Valid Driver’s license
- Assemble and fit mechanical components for conveyor systems.
- Operate lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools to fabricate and modify parts.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet design specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to manufacture parts accurately.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in equipment and components.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the workplace.
- Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults on machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Replace worn or damaged parts in machinery and conduct regular lubrication of mechanical components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, including boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
- Cut, shape, weld, and install metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
