They are seeking a Senior Financial Manager to take full ownership of the financial function and support the continued growth and stability of the business.Role Overview
As the Senior Financial Manager, you will oversee the company's full financial operations. You'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, feasibility analysis, invoicing, costing, reporting, and overall financial planning. You'll also manage a small finance team and work closely with senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and budgeting
- Prepare and manage financial forecasts, project feasibility studies, and cost estimates
- Monitor cash flow, profitability, and project cost tracking
- Manage monthly management reports and assist with strategic planning
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and service providers
- Oversee staff payroll, expense management, and statutory compliance
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions and project planning
- A B.Com Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (essential)
- 5-10 years' experience in a senior financial role, preferably within architecture, construction, or quantity surveying (QS) sectors
- Solid experience in feasibility studies, costing, invoicing, and project-based financial management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop employees
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Candidates with QS or construction/architecture industry experience will be given preference
- Understanding of project-based billing and cost tracking is a strong advantage
