A reputable and established steel manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Quality Controller with a strong background in the steel industry to join their team in Rustenburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and specifications throughout the production process.Responsibilities:Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goodsIdentify and report non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are implementedMaintain and update quality control documentation and reportsWork closely with production teams to uphold quality assurance processesEnsure compliance with industry standards and internal quality protocolsCalibrate and maintain measuring instruments and testing equipmentAssist in internal and external audits related to quality management systemsProvide training and support to production staff on quality procedures and best practicesRequirements:Minimum 35 years of quality control experience in the steel or metal manufacturing industryStrong knowledge of quality assurance systems and methodologiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsRelevant tertiary qualification or certification in quality or engineering is advantageousBenefits
